About Us South Central Hackney Association members include Hackney enthusiasts from all over the country. Members have the opportunity to earn points toward championships and reserve championships in 8 different divisions competing in over 30 member shows in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky Futurity Members also have the opportunity to exhibit their young ponies from weanlings to 3 year olds and earn premiums in the SCHA Futurity held at the Alexandria Kentucky Fair on Labor Day weekend. Junior Road Ponies Junior road ponies are showcased in the Garnett and Aldina Wood Memorial Junior Road Pony Championship also held at Alexandria where the 2009 winner was awarded over $500. Bonus Money Classes For the older ponies there are the SCHA Bonus Money Classes at selected member shows in 8 different divisions.
