Junior Road Pony
Qualifications
Southern States S.H.O.W. Program
All ponies will qualify by showing in
two SCHA Junior Road Pony Classes, Three-year-old Road Pony Futurity or
Three-Year-Old Open Classes at member shows during the current year.
All ponies will be four years old and
under.
All ponies will be 52" and under.
All ponies will have up-to-date American
Hackney Horse Society registration papers.
Registration papers will be presented
at the Championship Finals in order for the pony to show.
All owners and leases must be SCHA
members prior to June 30 of the current year in order for their ponies to show
in the Championship.
All exhibitors must be members of SCHA
prior to June 30 in order to show in the Championship Class.
All ponies will be mouthed for age
verification.
The SCHA Garnett and Aldina Wood
Memorial Junior Road Pony Champion will be held at the Alexandria Fair and
Horse Show.
SCHA has received a $500 grant from KEEP (Kentucky Equine Education Project) which will make this class
a $1,000 plus class. The Southern States S.H.O.W. program also helps to fund
the premium for this class.

WINNER'S PROGRAM
The S.H.O.W. Program is an opportunity for nonprofit horse associations
like the South Central Hackney Association in Southern States market
territories to earn funds for special events.
The SCHA special event is the SCHA Garnett and Aldina Wood
Memorial Junior Road Pony Champion held at the Alexandria Fair and Horse
Show. The Southern States S.H.O.W.
program helps to fund the premium for this class. SCHA is awarded a credit of 25 cents for each eligible proof of
purchase except Reliance products which will be 10 cents per proof of
purchase. In order to maximize the
prize money offered in this class, please save your proof of purchases from
Southern States feed. The more proofs
of purchase we turn in, the greater the Junior Road Pony premium. Ron Burcham is our designated representative
to collect and submit the proofs of purchase.
